The development of the brand Amor® was started in 1968 in the field of condoms. Essentially, at this time Amor was producing condoms and packets for vending machines.
10 years later in 1978 Amor® took over the Interlatex company with its brand Erotim®
While the brand Amor® serves mainly the markets in Europe, Pakistan, Iran and for many years also South America, Erotim® covers the Caribbean and Central America.
For a few years now beside condoms – a second large area of business – medical supplies to gynacologists, hospitals etc have been marketed. Medical protective bags, contact gel, finger cots and latex gloves have been and are sold mainly in Austria, Poland, Turkey, Russia and France.
In 2004 Michael Dills who was working at that time on the board of the Condomi company took over the complete company with all the brands.
In 2006 Michael Dills took over Rimbacher Latex Contor and with that the brands Rilaco®, Rilason® and Playgel®.
In 2011 the company grew and moved to a new location in Arnstadt (Thuringia) with a new building, warehouse and new production facility.
